Is here any difference between ddr400 and pc3200?

I am looking to put memory into a dell inspiron 6000 and from what i hold found I believe both the ddr400 and the pc 3200 should work. Am I correct?

Answer:

DDR400 and PC3200 are alike thing. 200Mhz is the actual speed of the RAM, but since it is double notes rate (DDR) it is measured at 400Mhz. The PC3200 number comes from the total data throughput which is 3.2GBps (Gigabytes per second).
See the site I've related.
