No it is not a honest laptop. It has a celeron processor which is one of the slowest/cheapest on the souk. Even for someone with the most rough and ready needs i would not recommend this laptop. Instead move about for one that at least offer an AMD Turion 64 processor or an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
