The R31 is an old Thinkpad. It could own come with any one of various different Windows operating systems. You need to ask whomever you are buying it from what magazine of Windows it has on it. If it is Windows XP, ask if they enjoy the install disks and license key. To find out what be originally on it, ask what version of Windows is on the retrieval disks.

The operating System on it is any Windows XP, or Windows 2000/me/98...
Classic mode or windows xp mode are both theme which are inside of windows xp...
A Pentium 3 is onloy efficient of handling windows XP if it have at least 256 MB of RAM.
