I'm looking to join 2 gigs of RAM to my notebook, and I see some on tigerdirect.com ranging from $189- $244. My interrogate is will I get alike performance from the $189 one as anti the $244 one.
Answer:
yes you will. the only difference is one capitalist is more greedy than the other.just gross sure you get the correct pin # and processor speed.
it depends what your using it for. you'll most promising get better conduct from the 244. but if your just looking at running alot of programs at once, the 189 will do. also if your lokking to upgrade to vista, don't. dally at least six months, consequently upgrade. need to supply microsoft a chance to catch the bugs out of their new operating system.
Although near may be a few "bad apples" out there, for the most cog much of the RAM is the same. You're probably fine good the extra $50 on this one.
You cna sometimes get ones that dont run aswell or dont closing as long. I would go for the cheap one anyway.
You own to use the same TYPE of RAM that your computer accept, and can your computer accept that much of RAM.
Go to newegg.com and check at hand prices before you buy anything. I hold found them to be the cheapest. There are different types of ram. Yes some are better than others.
It will depend on what your notebook can bar. Generally the higher the MHZ the faster it is, but you also call for to look at the latency. The lower the latency number(s) the faster it is, you may not notice much difference between articulate a 4 and a 5, but if you use your notebook for gaming and such you will notice a difference between a 4 and an 8.
All memory have latency, but it may not be listed within which case you may requirement to check out the manufacturer's web site. The better chips will usually hold their latency listed.
