If you are with the sole purpose using it for word processing and general department and surfing the net it is fine. Just be shure that it have at least 256mb push 512mb is even better, but there is no inevitability for the extra just for surfing the lattice and word processing.I still use an old 500mhz processor beside 128mb ram for word processing and surfing the net. You only inevitability the extra power for games and high bring to a close graphics
depends what u wanna do on the computer if just surfin lattice n word work then that fine if wanna play games after around 2Ghz is better but also depends on how much memory(ram) ur computer has :)
Well you know.I live within India and 2.4GHz is pretty common out here.If you discern that you don't really use it much and only obligation it for common home use, its fine.
