My daughter requests a laptop for school but I can't afford a contemporary one.

There are a number of different places to buy a refurbished laptop online. Dell have a section of their website devoted to refurbished laptops - you simply force out for the features you want, and it will display the available laptops. They are all fully right by Dell, and are all a short time ago as trustworthy as a brand new laptop.



Ebay is also a upright source for used/refurbished laptops. I have gotten 2 laptops stale of Ebay before, adjectives at less than the OEM price, and adjectives entirely to nearly new. However, a word of admonition - if a price seems to low to be true on Ebay, it probably is.

A reputable local computer store would be the best bet within my opinion because you can ususally see how all right they work there. Online I'd take heed. Just make sure the store is reputable, and know refurbished items don't usually come near warranties so you'd want to think twice.



Toshiba and Acer new laptops are both correctly cheap at walmart I believe, I think dell are usually affordable too.
why spend money on a laptop when you can bring back it for free? just run to this site and complete a few quick tasks and they'll convey you a sony vaio laptop at no charge!
If I were you I'd carry her a brand new.the price difference is not that much, specially next to the new Intel Core duo and Windows Vista,\If you hang about for a sale you might return with a good brand laptop for as Little as $600,
